Friday, January 8th: Help Feed the Homless. Shoreshim hosts a sandwich-making Friday night Shabbat gathering in support of the Embry Rucker Community Shelter. Family, older kids and teens, all are needed to step up and help out--this is a good opportunity for teens looking for community service hours! Sandwich making will be followed by a community potluck dinner. Please see the Evite or contact us for more information. 

Sunday, January 17th: Free Teen Jewish Identity classes covering a brief history of Judaism to the creation of the state of Israel to famous gunfighters of the Wild West. The class will be held in a private home in Reston.  Please contact us for more information. 

Saturday, January 23rd: Join us for Saturday morning services at a private home in Reston, led by the always-inspiring Rabbi Gilah Langner. Contact us for more information.

Sunday, January 31st: Tu B'Shevat. Come celebrate Jewish Arbor day, the " New Year of the Trees." Dinner, service and social gathering. Contact us for more information.
