February may be the shortest--and snowiest!--month, but Shoreshim still has plenty of events on the calendar. Don't miss our special gatherings, holiday and educational opportunities this month, including TWO teen/'tween events, beginning this friday night: 

  • Teen Shabbat, Friday, February 12th. WEATHER PERMITTING. A Shabbat gathering will be held at 6pm, catered by the fabulous Cookie, followed by a teen group discussion led by Paul Mandel. Group discussion is suitable for pre-teens, teens and their parents. To RSVP or for more information, please contact Edythe: 
  • TEEN Education Classes to be held February 21st at 6:30pm. Location to be announced. If you missed the first class, no worries. All tweens/teens welcome (Class is free for members; $10 for non-members ). Please contact Paul Mandel for more information: 
  • ADULT Education Classes: February 21st. Adults join us for a class on Jewish rituals on death and dying. Classes to be led by Janet Zucker, and held at the home of Jenny and Phil Garfinkle, Great Falls. 3:30 to 5pm. Please contact Jenny for more information: (Free for members; $50 for the series for non-members) 
  • PURIM celebration February 28th. 2 to 5pm. Come shake your grogger! Don't miss this family-friendly celebration, featuring a most beautiful guest Vashti, plus a wonderful communal dinner catered by Cookie. Evite to follow.
